A 17-year-old houseboy has been arrested for reportedly killing his master simply identified as Chima.

Daily Report Nigeria reports that Chima was attacked and killed by his houseboy during a argument over the weekend in Awka, the Anambra State capital.

Narrating the incident to the local security, the suspect confessed to repeatedly hitting his master with a pestle.

On what resulted in the scuffle, the suspect said his master only asked him why he had not done chores and proceeded to give him a slap when he refused to answer.

This resulted to a fight were he reportedly used both kitchen knife and pestle on his master even while his body was lying lifeless on the floor in the pool of his blood.

The suspect, who was brought in from Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, has since been handed over to the Nigerian Police Force, Awka division, for further questioning.

The corpse of the deceased has also been deposited at a morgue for autopsy.
