18-Seater Bus Crashes, Sends 2 into Lagos Lagoon | Daily Report Nigeria

An 18-seater bus has been involved in a crash near the Adeniyi Adele axis, inward Lagos Island, on the Third Mainland Bridge.

The bus, with registration number FKJ 872 YA, veered off the road due to the driver’s excessive speed and collided with the bridge railings.

According to Ibrahim Farinloye, the Lagos Territorial Coordinator of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the unfortunate incident occurred on Wednesday in Lagos.

The impact of the collision, Farinloye explained, was so forceful that it propelled two adult passengers—a male and a female—off the bus and into the Lagos lagoon.
