Princess Owusu-Ansah, an 18-year-old Ghanaian residing in Royston, Hertfordshire, United Kingdom has reportedly bathed her female friend with hot water over her boyfriend.
Owusu-Ansah was sentenced to three years in prison for pouring boiling water on her friend.
The victim was accused of sleeping with Owusu-Ansah’s boyfriend.

The incident was recorded in a Snapchat video that quickly went viral.
In the video, the victim was seen screaming under a blanket as Owusu-Ansah grabbed a kettle of boiling water and threw it over her.
The victim continued to scream as Owusu-Ansah threatened to stab her with a silver knife.
The local authorities launched an investigation after a concerned citizen saw the video and reported the crime.
Owusu-Ansah was subsequently arrested and charged with assault. The severity of the crime has led to her receiving a three-year prison sentence.
She was arrested on February 5. While appearing in custody at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on February 6, Owusu-Ansah went on to plead guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent, criminal damage, and theft at the Inner London crown court.
Thereafter, the authorities held Owusu-Ansah in custody until her sentencing on May 9.
