19 Injured As Truck And BRT Collide With Danfo In Lagos

19 people have been confirmed injured following an accident in Lagos.

According to reports, the accident involved a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), a truck and a commercial vehicle, popularly known as Danfo at Ketu, in Ojota area of Lagos on Friday, June 14.

 

It was gathered that he truck was heading inward Ketu, but suddenly lost control, skidded off it’s lane, and collided with the BRT bus. The BRT on the other hand also skidded off it’s lane and collided with the Danfo.

The accident led to a total road block, and the operatives of the Lagos State Emergency Management Authority (LASEMA) responded to the scene at about 12 noon.

There were no deaths, but 15 people were injured and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, while four other injured victims were attended to by LASEMA’s pre-hospital care team alongside Lagos State Ambulances Service (LASAMBUS) at the scene of the incident.
