Operatives of the Edo state police command have arrested an herbalist for the alleged murder of his client.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the self acclaimed 19-year-old herbalist, identified as Timothy Dauda was said to have tried to test a bulletproof charm he had done for his client in Onumu Community, in Àkókò-Edo Local Government Area of Edo state.

Confirming the incident to newsmen in Benin city on Monday, September 2, the spokesperson of the State Police Command, SP Moses Joel Yamu said the suspect, who specializes in creating Cutlass and gun protection charms was arrested by operatives of the Igarra Division.
“One Alex Ezekiel ‘m’ now deceased, went to the “native doctor” to get the charms prepared for him. After preparing the charms, the native doctor tried to test the efficacy of the charm by shooting the deceased with a gun,” the PPRO stated.

“Unfortunately, the deceased sustained fatal injuries, was rushed to Ifejola Hospital, Igarra, where he was certified dead by a medical doctor.”
SP Yamu added that further investigations are still ongoing, and the suspect will be prosecuted accordingly.
