  • The brothers have been made to face the law following their involvement in homicide and armed robbery.

  • The duo were accused of killing a 26-year-old man in Kaduna State.

Two brothers, identified as Hamza Jibrin, 27, and Yusuf Jibrin, 24, have been paraded before the Kaduna High court for their alleged involvement in the murder of armed robbery.

The duo, whose case was heard by the court on Tuesday, November 12 pled not guilty to the charges.

According to the prosecuting counsel, the brothers, alongside the others who are currently at large armed themselves with matchers and other dangerous weapons along Airport Road, Kaduna, on 7 November, robbed and caused the d3ath of a 26-year-old man, Rabiu Sani.

He said the defendants stole the deceased’s HP laptop, two cell phones, his wallet which contained two ATM cards and cash sum of N30,000.

The defendant counsel in the other hand pleaded with the court to give her clients bail, adding that they would be of good behavior and won’t jump bail

The judge adjourned the matter until 12 December.
