‘2-Month-Old Dies in Kano Hospital’ – Mother’s Harrowing Account

A distraught woman has lamented, after her baby gave up the ghost in an hospital in Kano state.

According to the woman, who identified herself as Abdulazeez Hope Maryam, her 2-month-old daughter, who was rushed to the hospital passed away due to absence of doctors.

While narrating the sad incident in a Facebook post on Wednesday, May 14, 2925, Maryam disclosed that the baby was rushed to the emergency unit of the hospital, and had to wait for over two hours due to the unavailability of doctors to attend to her.

Maryam said before she could leave for another hospital, her baby d!ed.

She wrote;

When people say may Nigeria never happen to you I never really understood what they meant until I rushed my daughter to Nassarawa Hospital Kano state in the emergency department for more than two hours no doctor to attend to us and before I could leave there to another hospital I lost my precious daughter. Ahhhhh,”

“My tiny angel, though your time with me was short, your impact on my life will be felt forever. In just two months, you stole my heart with your sweet smiles and gentle coos. Your brief life touched my soul in ways I will cherish always. Rest peacefully, little one, and shine brightly among the stars. I love you more than words can say. HIBATULLAH.”

 

 

2025 UTME: Students Demand Total Cancellation as JAMB Admits Errors, Apologises
