2 passengers of a tricycle were in the early hours of Wednesday killed by suspected security operatives escorting a convoy.
The incident happened around 7am on Wednesday, July 13, in Ogbromo, Uvwie Local Government Area, Delta state.
It was gathered that the tricycle driver was trying to overtake the convoy when one of the security officials came down from the vehicle and shot two passengers in the tricycle.

As at the time of filling this report, the identity of the security officials was still unknown.
The police spokesman of Delta State Command, DSP Bright Edafe said the identity of the officials is still unknown.
Edafe added that the police have commenced investigation into the matter.
