Bukola Saraki to contests for President in 2023

Campaign posters of former Senate President, Bukola Saraki has been spotted in conspicuous areas in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

Rumours have been rife that the former governor of Kwara state will soon make known his intentions to contest the 2023 presidential election, with the posters adding fuel to that speculation.

The posters were sighted on Tuesday at Wuse area of Abuja, precisely the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party, known as Wadata House in Abuja.

His picture was displayed in the poster tagged, “Reset Nigeria 2023: Abubakar Bukola Saraki for President”.

The media aid of the former senate president, Yusuph Olaniyonu, however, said in a phone interview that he knew nothing about it.

He said, “If Senator Bukola Saraki wanted to contest for president, he will address a world press conference to make his intention known.

“We don’t know where the posters come from, we did not post them.”
