2023: Daddy Showkey Foresees Danger As Labour Party Faction Elects New Flag-bearer

Nigerian singer, Daddy Showkey has reacted to reports of a new presidential candidate being elected by a faction of the Labour Party.

Peter Obi, ex-governor of Anambra State, had emerged as the party’s presidential candidate after Pat Utomi stepped down for him at the party’s primary election held recently.

Reacting to the emergence of another candidate, Obi’s former aide, Chief Digar Ezenwafor, as the new candidate, Daddy Showkey in a video shared on his social media page, viewed that “they” are trying to use an Igbo man to fight another Igbo man.

The ‘galala’ crooner then called on Igbos to unite and not allow themselves to be used to ruining the chances of a credible candidate in the 2023 elections.

He further advised Ezenwafor to abort his presidential ambition as a true Igbo man would do.
