The House of Assembly candidate of the African Democratic Congress for Burutu Constituency 11, Desmond Binebai has decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party.

The young politician announced his decamping on Monday when the Campaign Council of the PDP in Delta State visited Obotebe Ward 10.

Binebai said he was dumping the ADC to support the assembly candidate of the PDP in the 2023 poll, Asupa Forteta.

He said:

“I, Desmond Binebai was once a PDP member but left. Having left, I’ve seen how the other party is. There is no future in ADC. I want to urge every member, of the PDP there is sense of belonging and I want to say we work together to ensure we deliver PDP 6/6.”

Binebai was accompanied by a former Councillor of the ward, who had earlier moved to the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The campaign train canvassed support for party’s candidates in Ogulagha Ward 11, Obotebe Ward 10 and Ayakoromor Ward 7
