Five members of the Legislative Arm of Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, have been suspended in the aftermath of the 2023 elections.
The legislative arm led by Owholo Emmanuel also charged the lawmakers of gross misconduct and breach of oath of office.
The affected lawmakers are Oscar Okoro, Queen Oriendure, Tejiri Odjeni, Freeborn Efe Shalokpe and Emmanuel Ogolo.
The lawmakers were also sanctioned for ‘disobedient of instructions from constituted authority and behaviour likely to breach the peace of the house.’
