The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says it will commence collation of the February 25 Presidential and National Assembly election results on Sunday, February 26. chairman, Mahmood Yakubu stated this during his briefing on the voting process nationwide.

Yakubu also asserted that the National Collation Centre would be officially opened mid-day on Sunday for the announcement of collated results.

On the Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), Yakubu revealed it worked perfectly well in most of the states across the federation, but failed in some parts of the country.
