2023: James Manager Reacts to Delta PDP Governorship Primary Outcome

The lawmaker representing Delta South Senatorial District, Senator James Manager has reacted to the outcome of the governorship primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party in the State.

Daily Report Nigeria recalls that the PDP primary election for governorship aspirants held on Wednesday in Asaba, the Delta State capital.

Incumbent Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Sheriff Francis Oborevwori clinched the PDP governorship ticket after polling 590 votes out of a possible 825 votes.

Reacting to the result, Manager, who scored 83 votes to come in third place behind Olorogun David Edevbie, thanked his teaming supporters and Deltans for standing by him.

He also lauded Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for their journey over the years.

Taking to his official Facebook account, Manager wrote;

I want to thank God Almighty for his mercies and grace upon my life. I also want to thank my teeming-supporters, and well-wishers for standing and identifying with me in these times.

Finally, I wish to particularly thank my brother and wonderful friend, H.E Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for all he has done for, and with me.

Yesterday has come and gone, Today is with us and tomorrow is yet to come. God bless Delta and her People.
