The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwanso, has likened the Labour Party to a popular laxative, ‘Andrews Liver Salt.’

Kwankwanso made this comparison on Wednesday while speaking at the Chatham House in London.

According to the candidate, LP was no longer popular as it was earlier.

He said:

Especially the party you mentioned, Labour (Party), to us is like Andrews Liver Salt. It just came (lifts his hand up) and now its coming down.”

Kwankwanso further asserted that NNPP was the currently known party in Nigeria.

Additionally, he encouraged people to forget about the big parties in the presidential race, adding that they were the problems of Nigeria.

He said:

“That’s the reality. Of course, the NNPP is the only party that is now getting support. Forget about big big people, who are the actual problems of our country.”
