The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Jigawa State, Mustapha Sule Lamido has called on the Nigerian Youth to rise and prove their capacity in the 2023 general elections.

The son to the former governor of the state gave the charge in a statement to mark the world International Youth Day.

Lamido said: “On the occasion of the International Youth Day, I congratulate my fellow Jigawa State and Nigerian youths for the progress and achievements we have recorded so far.

“The Not too Young to Run” campaign is one of such achievements.

“However, we are still left behind when it comes to significant youth participation in public and private leadership roles.”
