2023: M.O.R.E for Delta Youths Project Unveils Ezechi As Patron | Daily Report Nigeria

A former Commissioner of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC) and flag-bearer of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for Ndokwa/Ukwuani Federal Constituency, Hon. Nnamdi Ezechi, has been announced as a patron of MORE for Delta Youths Project, a youth based political movement.

Speaking on Friday in Asaba, when a delegation of the steering committee of the group led by the Deputy Director General of the group, Mr. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole Enarise, paid him a courtesy visit, Hon Ezechi pledged his support for the youth movement and restated his commitment to the victory of the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori at the 2023 general election.

In his words, “I agree with the vision of this group and by the grace of God, come 2023, as God has shown us, that victory will come.

Ezechi who also served as Executive Assistant to the executive governor of Delta State, Sen Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, on Youth Development, said he is fascinated by the composition of the team with the son of the PDP gubernatorial candidate as its leader. He also thanked the youths for forging a common front to project their interests.

“One of the things that gives me joy about this team is that the son of the PDP governorship candidate, Mr. Fred Sheriff Oborevwori, is part of it. His presence will make way for the youths.

“Without much delay, I want to gladly accept to be a patron of this group. We will commit our finance also to the project.

“We will work extremely hard to ensure that PDP all PDP candidates emerge victorious.” he said.

The move is one among the avalanche of patrons and advisers endorsing the youth-based initiative that already has membership across the 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State.

The director general of the initiative, Mr. Fred Sheriff Oborevwori has stated that the mission of the group is to create a platform for youth inclusion while campaigning for the Delta State PDP gubernatorial candidate Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Oborevwori.

The official inauguration of the group is scheduled to hold in Asaba on the 14th of July, 2022.
