Some notable Nigeria clerics, including Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church, has announced a three-day fasting and prayer for a peaceful and credible poll on February 25.

This was stated in a circular obtained by newsmen.

According to it, the exercise would begin on Monday, January 13.

The fasting was targeted at seeking God’s help and praying against forces that may manipulate the election.

The circular also revealed that David Ibiyomie of the Salvation Ministry.

It further listed other ministries founded by spiritual sons of Oyedepo that would be joining the exercise.

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC), Dr Paul Enenche, also announced this while addressing members of his church during a prayer for a better Nigeria on Sunday.
