Festus Keyamo, Minister of State for Labour and Employment has said that Nigeria is not divided by religion or tribe as presumed by popular opinions.
Expressing his viewpoint via his Twitter page, the Minister indicated Nigeria is rather divided into the ruling class and the masses.
According to him, the ruling class projects division in Nigeria by manipulating the masses with sentiments of religion and tribe so they don’t question the real abilities of public officers.

“Our nation is not divided by religion or ethnicity.
“It is divided into the ruling class and the hapless masses who the ruling class continuously manipulate by sentiments of religion and tribe so that the masses will not wake up to interrogate their real capacities for public office,” he said.
Keyamo had in the past few days, defended the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2023.
The Minister exhorted Christians not to fear if Bola Tinubu emerged President in 2023 because he allowed his wife to practice Christianity under him.
