No less than seven members of the Board of Trustees the Peoples Democracy Party are currently in a closed-door meeting with River State’s Governor, Nyesom Wike at the Government House, Port Harcourt.

A top source who spoke on anonymous conditions said the meeting was crucial towards resolving the crisis in the party.

“Yes, it is confirmed that the PDP BoT members will meet His Excellency, the Governor (Wike) today in Port Harcourt.

“You very well know what is happening in the party, the issues and everything. So such meeting is crucial. That is all I can tell you.”

Governor Wike and his camp have persistently demanded for the resignation of the PDP National Chairman, Iyorchia Ayu.
