2023: PDP Party Members to Reconcile with Wike Over Crisis
The Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa, has moved to reconcile with the Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, over the ongoing crisis in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The party’s vice presidential candidate noted this while speaking to newsmen after a closed-door meeting with the Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom.
Both met at the Benue State Government Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, on Friday.

Okowa disclosed that the reconciliation meeting was delayed due to Wike’s trip abroad.
Regardless, he assured that Atiku Abubakar and the party’s leadership would do everything possible to reconcile with Wike ahead of the 2023 presidential election.
The Governor of Benue State, on his part, called on the party’s leadership and its presidential candidate (Abubakar) to meet with Wike for reconciliation.
Ortom further stated that he is fully behind the reconciliation move.
This was necessary for the party must have all hands on deck ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Wike had days ago accused Atiku of lying while addressing newsmen in Port Harcourt on Friday.
