2023 Presidency: Goodluck Jonathan's Campaign Posters Flood APC National Secretariat | Daily Report Nigeria

Campaign posters calling on former President Goodluck Jonathan to contest the 2023 presidential election have been spotted all over the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja.

The posters which had ”Goodluck Jonathan You Must Run,” inscripted on them were seen on the walls of the APC Secretariat.

The campaign posters were also seen on the fences of many residential buildings along the Blantyre street that leads to the APC Secretariat.

The spotting of the posters have further fueled speculations that the former President may be gearing to return to the Aso Rock Villa in 2023.

However, the identity of individuals or a group behind the posters still remain a mystery.

This is not the first time campaign posters of Goodluck Jonathan have been seen around Abuja.

Prior to the emergence of the posters, rumours were rife that there were negotiations between Jonathan’s camp and some stakeholders of the APC for the former President to join the party in pursuit of his emergence as APC presidential candidate.

Jonathan is said to be a preferred candidate for the group as he will only be eligible to a single term in office and then power can go back to the north.

However, the Jonathan camp has on several occasions denied rumours that the Bayelsa-born politician is interested in staging a comeback to the presidency nor is he planning to dump the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the All Progressives Congress (APC).
