2023 Presidency: Igbos Have No Place in APC, PDP – Odoh | Daily Report Nigeria

Prof. Benard Odoh, the gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in Ebonyi State has reacted to the failure of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and the All Progressives Congress, APC to allow Igbos emerge as their presidential flagbearers.

The APGA candidate stated this while addressing church members during the Fathers’ day celebration at All Saints Anglican Cathedral, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital.

He said Igbos have no place in the two dominant parties, APC and PDP in today’s Nigeria.

According to him: “We know that Igbos have no place in the two dominant parties in today’s Nigeria again because we have nobody running for President or Vice President in any of the two Parties”

He called on the people of the southeast region to work hard so that Igbos can be recognized in national politics.

“So, it’s time for our people to think about how to secure their various States in the South East first before we begin to gain relevance again in national politics. That’s why we have to work hard to liberate ourselves and make a profound statement on our identity as a people” Odoh said.
