2023 Presidency: I’ll Support Tinubu – Rabiu Kwankwanso

Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has declared that he will support Bola Ahmed Tinubu to win the 2023 Presidential Elections if his chances of winning becomes slim.

Kwankwaso, the Presidential Candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party, revealed this in an interview on Arise TV on Sunday night, shortly after Tinubu announced Senator Kashim Shettima as his running mate.

According to Kwankwanso, he has related with Tinubu so well in the past, hence, he does not doubt the latter’s abilities and strategies.

“Ordinarily, if I cannot get it, I can recommend him(Tinubu),” he said.

Kwankwanso also expressed support for Tinubu on theselection of Senator Kashim Shettima, describing it as a good choice.

He further advised Tinubu to be mindful of his health in wait of the campaigns.

“If you see my friend Bola, tell him to take it easy, and to take care of his health, this campaign is very rigorous and requires a lot of effort,” Kwankwanso added.

The emergence of Kashim Shettima as Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, has bee greeted with mixed reactions from across the country.

While some say it is a good choice for the ruling party, others argue that the principles of justice equity and fairness was not respected with emphasis on religion.
