A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has berated the All Progressives Congress, APC, for allegedly hiring fake Catholic bishops at the official presentation of its vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima.
On Wednesday, Shettima, a Northern Muslim was unveiled by the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu as his running mate.

The event was attended by some bishops, whom many Nigerians believed were fake
Reacting to the controversy, Omokri via his Facebook, wrote: “If Tinubu could not organise a successful unveiling of his running mate, and had to hire fake Christian ‘Bishops’, then how can he successfully govern Nigeria?
“Can Nigeria be safe at the hand of a man who can desecrate Christianity so wantonly? Nigeria will burn under Tinubu, because he obviously can’t manage our diversity. The only thing fuelling his ambition is desperation.

“His desperation will lead to our separation! We have not found a way to end the menace of unknown gunmen, we do not need unknown bishops too!”
