Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has insisted that the 2023 presidential election will go down as the worst election in the country’s history.
Obi made said on Monday while appearing on Arise Television’s Morning Show.
The former Anambra State Governor, said the poll would probably be the worst election considering the flagrant abuse of the 2022 electoral law.

Obi, who already challenged the outcome of the election by filing suit at the presidential election petition tribunal, said;
“If you look at the last election, it is probably the worst election, considering in this particular republic, the 2022 electoral law which was meant to improve our overall election process and continued and consistent promises by the chairman of INEC that this is going to the best thing that will happen to Nigeria,” Obi said.
Labour Party’s Legal Team Meets INEC to Inspect Election Materials
The legal team of the Labour Party has entered into a meeting with officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja.
The meeting is being held at the commission’s national headquarters to commence the inspection of electoral materials used for the February 25 presidential election.
Head of the LP’s legal team, Dr Livy Uzoukwu led 60 lawyers into the meeting and are expected to brief journalists after the meeting
