According to the legislator, some party chieftains’ undemocratic behavior, notably in Oyo State, has shown that people at the grassroot, particularly the youths would continue to be at the mercy of the few at the top.
He claimed that some members of the party forced their favored candidate on the public against their will, saying he’s leaving the APC because his family had requested it.
He went on to say that he entered politics for the greater good of Nigerian youths and the people of Oke Ogun, not for personal gain.
“I write to formally notify you of the renunciation of my membership in the All Progressives Congress (APC),” the letter read in part.
