2023: ‘Go And Sit Down,’ Tinubu Tells Atiku To Quit Presidential Race

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu has asked the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar to step down from the 2023 presidential race for him.

Tinubu, who visited the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom, HRM Oboro Gbaraun II on Friday, begged the monarch to tell Atiku to stop contesting for elections in Nigeria.

He said:

One says he is Atiku. How many times has he been running? He’s always on the run. He is never tired of running. Tell him to go and sit down.”

Still speaking in Oporozo, Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State, Tinubu claimed that his counterpart lies with statistics and arithmetic.

He again said:
“No Indian can solve it. To mention his name is a disgrace to me,” adding that he gives wrong statistics and wrong arithmetics of the economy.

He further described himself as the man who knows the road, adding that if the Pere of Gbaramatu Kingdom needs anyone, it should be him.

The APC candidate promised the monarch that he won’t distance himself from the people of Gbaramatu if elected president in 2033.

Tinubu also stated that he was going to discuss with them the development of the area and also provide employment for the young people.
