Adanse Timi Freedom, a UK-based youth leader from Warri North Local Government Council, has advised Deltans to vote for credible candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
The Egbema-born good governance advocate particularly urged people of the Big Heart state to shun the practice of voting for political parties, and elect candidates with proven records.
In a chat o Nigeria, Adanse lamented over his perceived failure of the Peoples Democratic Party in running the affairs of the state.

“We are not going to vote for party. We are tired. We will vote for individuals who will develop their regions if given the opportunity.
“How can we have an umbrella and still be soaked in the rain?,” he queried.
Using the exploits of the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege as an example of candidates with a good track record, Adanse said;
“The deputy Senate president has done more for his people than what the umbrella has done for us in the past 16 years.
“Take your time and check out what the deputy senate president has done for his people since he occupied that position.”
He also predicted that the PDP would spend the entirety of the next administration to recoup all the looted funds it spent in conducting its primary elections.
“The PDP will use the next four years in recovery money they looted to sponsor their elections. The next four years will be used in making unfulfilled promises again,” he added.
