Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Sunday held a meeting with four other Nigerian governors in Enugu State.
Governors in the meeting include Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State.
The governors held the closed-door meeting to deliberate on the presidential ambition of the Labour Party, flagbearer, Peter Obi.
According to the report, the governors are aiming at supporting Obi because they are not pleased with the presidential candidate of the party, Atiku Abubakar.

The PDP has been enmeshed in a crisis after the party’s primary where Nigeria’s former vice president, Atiku Abubakar, defeated Mr Wike and others to emerged as the party’s presidential candidate.
The crisis became worse after the presidential flagbearer of PDP, Atiku Abubakar, picked Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, as his running mate.
