The Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, says he won’t be joining the All Progressives Congress, APC, due to its choice of Muslim-Muslim ticket in the forthcoming presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
A certain associate of Governor Wike revealed this while briefing newsmen on Thursday.
According to the associate, Wike who had stated that he would not support the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, also declined APC’s candidate, Bola Tinubu on his presidential ambition.
He further stated that Governor Wike made it clear that he will not have anything to do with APC because of the Muslim-Muslim ticket.

An associate of Governor Wike revealed this while speaking with Daily Independent on Thursday.
An associate of the River State governor said Wike, who has noted that he would not support the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, took the same decision on the presidential ambition of Tinubu.
He, again, re-echoed that Governor Wike maintained he will not get involved with APC because of its Muslim-Muslim ticket choice.
