The UEFA Conference League champions, Chelsea, delivered a ruthless performance to dismantle Champions League winners PSG with a stunning 3–0 victory in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final on Sunday, July 13.

Cole Palmer ignited Chelsea’s charge in the 22nd minute, pouncing on a blocked drive from Malo Gusto and slotting home low into the corner.
Just eight minutes later, Palmer seized space on the right, cut inside, and curled a second past Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Before halftime, he laid off a simple pass for Joao Pedro—fresh from Brighton—to clip in the third.
PSG never regained control. Their frustration boiled over in the 86th minute when Joao Neves dragged Marc Cucurella’s hair and drew a red card after a VAR review.
Over 81,000 fans – among them U.S. President Trump and the First Lady witnessed the match’s first FIFA halftime show, giving the final a Super Bowl feel.

Chelsea finished the season strong: fourth in the Premier League, Conference League champions, and now world champions with about $125 million in prize money.
