Atiku made this known after meeting with a delegation of prominent ADC stakeholders from Bauchi, led by Alhaji Aminu Ahmed Yapeco, Sarkin Yakin Katagum. Yapeco addressed journalists on behalf of the delegation after the meeting.
According to Atiku, the engagement provided an opportunity to assess the current state of the ADC in Bauchi and examine ways to reinforce the party’s internal structures. He said discussions centred on identifying existing weaknesses and developing practical solutions to improve cohesion, effectiveness, and performance.
The former vice president described the meeting as part of a broader strategy to reposition the ADC as a credible and viable opposition party capable of articulating and defending the aspirations of the people of Bauchi State.
“At this meeting, we carefully reviewed existing shortcomings, and I am fully committed to working hand in hand with party leaders at every level to build a strong, responsive, and effective opposition that truly represents the interests of Bauchi citizens,” Atiku said.
