Sani described the congress as a reflection of unity and internal democracy within the party, noting that thousands of ward and local government executives were elected across the state. He said the APC structure remains strong and present in every community.

The governor maintained that adopting consensus candidates signified political maturity, stressing that mobilisation must begin at the polling unit level in alignment with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

In his remarks, Abbas urged the new leadership to unite all factions and work towards securing over two million votes for Tinubu and the same margin for Governor Sani in 2027.

Accepting his emergence, Sankay pledged disciplined leadership, grassroots engagement, and expanded participation for youths and women, promising to strengthen the party ahead of the next general elections.
