Four clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Cruz Azul, Pyramids FC and Al-Ahli have already booked their places at the 2029 Club World Cup.

The 2025 edition’s new 32-team format kicks off this week, and this Sunday Chelsea and PSG will fight for that trophy.

Because the tournament now runs every four years, teams have started to secure their spots well in advance.

2029 Club World Cup : PSG, Cruz Azul Among First to Qualify

Paris Saint-Germain cruised past Inter Milan 5–0 to win the UEFA Champions League and seal their 2029 Club World Cup spot.

Meanwhile, Cruz Azul secured their 2029 Club World Cup spot by triumphing in the 2025 CONCACAF Champions Cup.

Also, Pyramids FC clinched theirs as CAF Champions League winners.

And Al-Ahli sealed the quartet with victory in the AFC Champions League Elite.

Qualified so far for the 2029 Club World Cup:

  • Paris Saint-Germain (France)
  • Cruz Azul (Mexico)
  • Pyramids FC (Egypt)
  • Al-Ahli (Saudi Arabia)

With dozens of spots still open, every continental final will matter.

Over the next few years, fans must watch the Champions Leagues in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas – each winner inches closer to football’s premier club event.
