21-Year-Old Apprentice Commits Suicide In Rivers | Daily Report Nigeria

Sunday Orime, a 21-year-old man reportedly committed suicide on Thursday night at his residence in Mile 3 Diobu area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Orime was an apprentice mechanic before he took his life.

According to the Chief Security Officer of Nkpolu Oroworukwo community, in Port Harcourt, Comrade Godstime Ihunwo, who confirmed the incident, said he received a distress call from residents around 8 pm.

Ihunwo affirmed he quickly rushed down to the compound before contacting the police.

The spokesperson for the Rivers State Police Command, DSP Grace Iringe Koko, promised to get back to newsmen as soon as proper investigation was conducted.

Orime’s corpse, however, had been deposited in a mortuary.
