22 suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested by the EFCC in Delta

The EFCC has arrested 22 suspected internet fraudsters in Asaba, Delta State.

The Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, confirming the arrest, said the suspects were arrested in an early morning sting operation.

They suspects are identified as Saviour Francis; Samuel Okonkwo; Justice Onokeya; Christian Addeh; Collins Addeh; Ifeanyichukwu Ramsey; Kingsley Ikechukwu Nnubia; Great Unuafe Ogaga; Chibuike Chukwuka, Dominic Chukwuka and Precious Omvnogor; Oreva Ferife; Stephen Kwushue; Emmanuel Daniel; Paul Ugwu; Ochuko Zion; Shedrack Godshelp; Barnabas Ossai; Ekwere Joseph Onyeka; Andrew Ochei, Kelechi Uwaegbu and Ifeanyi Afoma.

According to a statement by the commission, it stated that the suspects were arrested in Asaba metropolis based on verified intelligence on their suspicious internet- related criminal activities.

Sixteen vehicles, ” eight Sports Utility Vehicles, SUV and eight cars of different brands”, 48 phones, 9 laptops, 4 International passports, 4 Drivers Licences, 1 printer, 4 Wrist watches; 2 Automated Teller Machine cards, 4 tokens and 1 Point of Sales( POS) machine were recovered from them.

”The suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded,”
the statement added.
