The housemates were left in shock as Ebuka disclosed the identities of the wildcards.

Evictions usually happen on Sunday, but Big Brother had other plans this season. Earlier this week, Big Brother Instructed the housemates to uncover the wild cards before Sunday, the supposed eviction day.
On Thursday, July 29, 2021, Pere and Maria were disclosed as wild cards to the audience. Still, it was left for the housemates to expose their identity. Biggie invited the housemates on Sunday afternoon to reveal who they felt were the wild cards.

A number of them nominated Jay Paul and Liquorose as the wild cards. WhiteMoney was the only one who guessed right; Pere and the other housemates were unable to.
When Ebuka revealed the identities of the real wild cards, he left the housemates in absolute shock.
Since the BBNaija housemates couldn’t guess correctly, Maria and Pere remain in the reality show. They also have undivided nomination power this week.
It also means that Pere and Maria will join the twenty housemates to compete for the prize money worth N90m.
Now the housemates will have more competitors because they failed a simple task, “Get to know each other.”
Below was how the housemates cast the votes;
Whitemoney voted Liquorose and Pere,

Arin voted Liquorose, and Jaypaul,
Jaypaul voted Emmanuel and Beatric; Cross voted Jaypaul and Liquorose,

Pere Egbi spoke on how he was able to avoid detection as the wildcard by the other housemates. He admitted it was a challenging task for him.
He said, “It was very challenging; II had to be under the radar and be very manipulative, get in a conversation with everybody and get in their head to know what they were thinking.”
According to Pere, he was sure that he would not be discovered because of his manipulative traits in the house.
The BBNaija Shine Ya Eye Housemates did not shine their eyes at all.
