A 27-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly beheading her husband in Eastern Region of Ghana.
The accused, identified as Rachel Tetteh, was reported to have killed her husband, Lartey Daniel, 35, at Tel Glover, a farming Community near Akyem Bosuso in the Fanteakwa South District on Sunday, October 3, 2021.

According to local media reports, a misunderstanding ensued between the duo, over alleged cheating, and while the deceased was on his way to the farm, the suspect trailed and attacked him with a machet.
Confirming the incident, The Public Relations Officer of the Eastern Regional Police Command, DSP Ebenezer Tetteh, said the police investigators were dispatched to the scene at about 7:30 am Sunday, October 3, 2021.
DSP Tetteh said that the lifeless body of the deceased was found in a pool of blood with a severed head along the footpath to the farm. The body was retrieved and taken to the Akyem Tafo Government Hospital, and is pending autopsy.
The PPRO added that the suspect has been arrested, and she is helping with investigations.
