The Nigerian troops of the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH), have successfully rescued 25 victims from the hands of kidnappers.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the troops launched the operation, code-named Golden Peace on Tuesday, December 3, withbthe aim of curbing terrorism in the Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The operation saw the troops clearing major bandits hideouts in the state, including Ruwan Sanye, Randa, Rafin Gora, Libere Gari, and Libere Makaranta.

According to reports, the troops faced a clash with the bandits in Randa Village, where they were engaged in gun duel.
3 bandits were neutralized, with others forced to abandon their victims, and flee the scene
The troops also recovered items such as roasted chicken, cigarettes, tramadol, energy drinks, clothing, as well as an illegal clinic used by the bandits.
