Makama further revealed that the suspect allegedly contacted a serving soldier, Corporal Yusuf Mohammed, asking him to help secure the ammunition in exchange for payment. Efforts are ongoing to track down the fleeing uncle, while the suspect remains in police custody for further investigation. Calls placed to FCT Command spokesperson SP Josephine Adeh were unanswered, and messages sent to her phone had not been replied to as at the time of filing this report.
