The suspect is alleged to have extorted over six million dollars from his victims.

A court hearing in Canada revealed he specializes in inheritance scams, targeting American senior citizens.
A Nigerian national is currently undergoing trial in the United States of America for fraud.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the suspect, identified as Okezie Ogbata, a 36-year-old man defrauded over 400 people.
During the court hearing at a district court in Florida, United States, it was gathered that the suspect specializes in inheritance scams, and had defrauded over 400 elderly women.

Reports from the Department of Justice found the accused guilty, stating that he and his accomplices had been telling series of lies to their victims, “to send money for delivery fees, taxes and other payments to avoid questioning from government authorities.”
They had also told them they have an inheritance in Spain to collect, stating that it was left for them by a family member who had died oversee.
The case was adjourned till April 14, for a second hearing, where Ogbata will be sentenced.
