A Lagos Magistrate Court in Ogudu has remanded 22-year-old security guard Ifeanyi Kelvin Udoka in custody over allegations of raping a 4-year-old girl.
Magistrate S.K. Matepo ordered Udoka’s detention at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre pending advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
The case has been adjourned to June 25 for further hearing.

Udoka faces charges related to defilement, with the prosecution alleging that he had carnal knowledge of the minor at King Heritage School in Ikosi-Ketu.
The charge sheet reads: “That you, Ifeanyi Kelvin Udoka, sometimes in May 2025, at King Heritage School Ikosi Ketu in the Ikeja Magisterial district did defile one (name withheld) ‘F’, age 4 years old, by having carnal knowledge of her and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 137 of the criminal law of Lagos State 2015.”
According to sources, the incident came to light when the child’s grandmother noticed unusual behavior, including uncontrollable urination, after the girl returned home from school.
The child reportedly told her grandmother that the security guard had touched her inappropriately. The Ketu police station is handling the prosecution.
