Operatives of the Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 52-year-old man for defiling his biological daughter in Ogun State.
The suspect, identified as Adebayo Akinrinoye, was said to have been having carnal knowledge of his 16-year-old daughter since she was 14.
It was gathered that the victim (name withheld) wrote a petition against her father at Agbado divisional headquarters, where she disclosed that her father had been forcing himself on her since she was 14, and all efforts to stop him proved abortive.

On receiving the report, the DPO Agbado division, CSP Kehinde Kiranga quickly discharged his detectives to the scene where the suspect was promptly arrested. While being interrogated, the suspect confessed to the crime but pleaded for forgiveness from his daughter.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, said the commissioner of police CP Edward Awolowo Ajogun has ordered the immediate transfer of the suspect to family support unit at Ota area command for further investigation and prosecution
