I Haven’t Heard from My Wife’s Abductors – Kaduna Community Leader Cries

kaduna

Malam Ibrahim Tanko, a Kaduna State community leader, has expressed concern that he has yet to hear from the kidnappers of his wife and two daughters.

The community leader told journalists in Kaduna on Saturday that since the kidnapping of his wife and two daughters, whose wedding is scheduled for March 2022, the abductors have only called to ask for his phone password.

On February 17, 2022, gunmen suspected of being bandits stormed Sarkin Hausawa’s house in Anguwar Azara in Jere, along the Abuja-Kaduna highway, and kidnapped his wife and two daughters.

However, the kidnappers have not been called to demand a ransom since their kidnappings.

“Actually, when I managed to escape through one of the exit doors, I forgot to bring my phones with me.” The bandits fled with the phones. “They called me on Thursday and demanded the passwords to my phones,” he explained.

According to him, nothing has been heard from them since he sent them the password, even though he pleaded with security operatives to look for his kidnapped family.
