The Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Bauchi, Yusuf Abdullahi, has stated that about 6 person lost their lives in an auto crash which happened on Sunday.

Abdullahi, who disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), in Bauchi, on Monday, said 15 others were seriously injured as a result of the mishap.

“There was a crash yesterday involving a Kano line commercial vehicle and six people lost their lives to the crash. The six people that died were all females”, he said.

According to him, the  accident was as a result of speed violation, about 21 persons were involved in the crash, 15 persons were seriously injured, while 6 person died.

“Among the 15 injured persons were four males, eight females, one male child and two female children,” the commander added.

He further stated that the injured person were taken to Jama’are General Hospital alongside the corpses 

Abdullahi urged motorists to always be conscious of road traffic rules and regulations as well as the weather condition at all times.
