About Six persons died in a rainstorm that occurred in the Oko Community of Delta State.
The natural disaster which happened on Wednesday night also left other unnumbered victims injured.
The storm uprooted an ancient tree said to be about three hundred years in the community located in Oshimili South Local Government Area of the oil-rich state.

Sources revealed the ancient tree crashed into two homes, resulting in the aforementioned number of deaths.
The Winny rain forced residents of the community to run for safety, reports held.
Reacting to the incident, the Delta State Government said it was a sad one in its condolence message to the victims and their families.
According to the state’s Information Commissioner Charles Aniagwu, the injured were being treated at the Asaba Specialist Hospital.
Aniagwu assured that the state government would continue to clear debris and also cut down trees to avoid future repetition of the tragedy.
Checks revealed there was a similar occurrence around the Okotomi area of Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area of the state.
