Lives have been lost, properties damaged following a ghastly motor accident along the Lagos-ibadan expressway.
Daily Report Nigeria gathers that the accident a involved a Mack truck marked SEY 363 YY, a tanker with registration number T2900LA and a bus marked LSD 180 YA.
The accident was deported to have happened in the early hours of Saturday, April 5 at NIPCO filling station axis on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
Confirming the accident, the spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Ogun state division, Florence Okpe said no fewer than seven people were confirmed dead.
She confirmed the accident in a statement released in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

She said the accident involved 15 people, 13 men and two women, four were injured, and seven were confirmed dead.
She further explained that the accident was as a result of over speeding and loss of control on the part of the Mack duck driver who subsequently rammed into the two other vehicles.
”The injured victims were taken to Divine Touch Hospital and Glory Center Hospital, Ibafo, while the deceased were taken to Idera morgue Sagamu,” she said
