Eighty-five were reportedly killed in a military bombing accident at Tudun Biri village in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
The North-West zonal spokesman of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Halima Suleiman disclosed the figure to newsmen.
Recall that an air strike by the Nigerian Army mistakenly bombed some persons said to be conducting religious activities on Sunday.
According to Suleiman, sixty-six other victims were also injured.

He stated that the eighty-five dead victims were thereafter buried on Monday.
The NEMA Spokesman added that a search has been launched to recover any other possible victims.
He said:
“The Northwest Zonal Office has received details from the local authorities that 85 dead bodies have so far been buried while a search is still ongoing.”
Checks revealed that the incident was one of the country’s deadliest military bombing accidents.
