Singer Tiwa Savage has been knocked by some netizens over her song choice at King Charles III’s coronation concert in the United Kingdom.
Recall Tiwa Savage was one of the performing guest artists at Saturday’s historical coronation ceremony.
The singer was called out thereafter by critics who argued that the song did not match the event.

According to them, the song was written for black identity and black pride and was not intended to be performed for “colonizers.”

One user said: “She really sang ‘See how the sun and moon now bow for you?’ to colonizers. ”
However, Twitter Personality, Daniel Regha believed that Tiwa performing at King Charles’s coronation was far better than winning a Grammy.
To him, the singer’s performance was incredible and she brought the African feelings but, more importantly, dressed nicely.
He said:
“She ought to accept covering up as usual, and her song selection is excellent. The achievement is significantly superior to receiving a Grammy, albeit, to perform at that event.”
